For School Age Children (K+), we offer before and after school care during the school year (limited private transportation for Bethel-Tate students), as well as offer a Summer Program during the Summer Break months. Before the students leave for school (and in the mornings during the summer months), they are offered a breakfast snack, as well as a snack when they return to the center from school (during summer months, they are offered an afternoon snack as well). During the summer, a lunch time is set for the students, and during the pre-school nap time, organized activity is planned for students. Our school age children are split into two different age groups, the Elementary and Primary. The Elementary group consists of children who will be entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade. The Primary group will consist of those entering 2nd grade and older. At times, these groups may combine depending upon volumes.
For Pre-School Children (2-5), we offer an organized morning full of lessons, crafts, interaction time, sensory time, and center time, as well as a time for lunch and nap. Before the lessons start, children are offered a breakfast snack. After all the lessons and activities from the morning, children will eat their packed lunches, then will lay on their individual cots and nap. When they wake up, they are offered a snack. After snack, children will play and have interaction time until parents pick up the children. Our Pre-School classes are split into two different age groups, dependent upon current enrollment ages. For Toddlers (18 Months-2), we offer an organized morning full of lessons, crafts, interaction time, sensory time, and center time, as well as a time for lunch and nap. Before the lessons start, children are given a breakfast snack. After all the lessons and activities from the morning, children will eat their packed lunches, then will lay on their individual cots and nap. When they wake up, they are given a snack. After snack, children will play and have interaction time until parents pick up the children. For Infants (6 Weeks - 18 Months), there is no set organized schedule because each infant is on their own schedule, matching with the home schedule as much as possible. Infants have room to play and have interaction with other infants that is vital for social development. Infants will drink their bottles, or eat their food when it is time, and will nap at their time. There are minimum attendance requirements for each age groups.
